RAFAEL VILLETA

I am a therapist and educator, I like to help people discover who they are in their fullest and healthiest expression. I try to get closer to those who give away expensive things like loyalty and honesty and moments of authentic connection. I dedicate myself to explore inside, to accompany, to try to understand and manifest the most constructive thing we have.

At home we all played tennis, when I was 6 years old I was already taking classes. From very early on I needed to look for a different way of playing because I didn’t see the ball well, without realizing it I needed to challenge my instinctive creativity, my intuition and my understanding of the game outside the academic framework. Now I have been teaching tennis and paddle tennis for about 30 years, from the beginning my way of teaching was more corporal and intuitive, I always put special interest in the processes of attention and in the search for naturalness. I currently work at the Madrid Tennis Federation.

Little by little I realized that organic tennis goes beyond the educational; it extends to the therapeutic and my way of understanding life. Organic tennis works with the whole person, in this way organic therapy appeared in my professional activity that has ended up gaining prominence outside the sports field, and so now I help people in other facets of life to free themselves from their burdens and grow. As a therapist I have trained in Focusing, Integrative Body Process, Postgraduate in Body and Art and other disciplines focused on psychology, consciousness and the body. I´m a focusing oriented therapist and focusing trainer.

I have also developed as a creator, I have studied undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Fine Arts, I have painted, illustrating, designing and teaching the fundamentals of design. These disciplines have significantly influenced my way of understanding life and learning and therapeutic processes. Creative processes, images and in general global and sensitive thinking are a fundamental part of my work.
